Brief description of the testing process for powder samples using a density analyzer
The density tester can not only test various types of samples, such as rubber sheets/particles/finished products, metal products, but also test different types of powder samples, such as metal powders, stone powders, and other types of powders. The method and process of measuring powder samples with the density tester are shared here:
1. Prepare a density tester, test sample, and testing tools including a small glass cup, tweezers, spoon, and a piece of testing paper;
2. Place the small glass cup in the middle of the suspended basket in the instrument water, then place the test paper on the measuring table, press the ZERO button to deduct the weight, and the screen will display 0.00g;
3. Take approximately 6-8g of powder sample and place it on testing paper. Then press the 【 ENTER 】 key, and the instrument will record the weight of the sample;
4. After recording the weight of the sample, remove the test paper containing the powder sample from the measuring table, then take out the small glass cup of the instrument's water suspension basket, leaving 1/3 of the water in the cup. Then pour the powder sample on the test paper into the small glass cup, and distribute the sample evenly;
5. Place the small glass cup containing the powder sample in the middle of the instrument water basket, then place the test paper back on the measuring table, wait for the weight to stabilize, press the 【 ENTER 】 key, the instrument will record the weight of the sample in water, and the density value will be automatically calculated. After the calculation is completed, the calculation result will be displayed on the screen;
6. After the test is completed, press the [ENTER] key to exit, pour the test sample out of the small glass cup, clean the small glass cup, and then put it back into the instrument water basket. Place the test paper back on the measuring table and wait for the next test.
The density tester can use different testing media for sample testing. Various samples have their unique physical properties. In order to adapt to the physical characteristics of various samples, the density tester can adjust the testing medium:
Firstly, replace the water in the sink with the testing medium required for this test sample;
After replacing the test medium, press and hold the [C] key to enter [A1], and press the [B] key to switch to [A2];
3. Press the [C] key to enter [A2], where you can see the density data of the test medium. Enter the correct density data of the test medium here, press the [A] key to switch the number of digits, and press the [B] key to modify the numbers;
After the modification is completed, press the 【 ENTER 】 key to log out and start the operation test.
